Both the whisker biscuit and drop away rest are very accurate when you set it up properly. Though a lot of hunters say that the other is more superior than the other one, it’s also because the general idea is that the drop away maintains accuracy and arrow speed and the whisker is more fail safe and reliable out in the field.

The whisker biscuit was introduced in 2003, it has changed the bowhunting sport into a very new style of arrow rest. It has grown popularity among hunters very fast because drawing and shooting became simplified. The common mistakes done when you shoot a deer is also eliminated as it ensures that the arrow is in the right place even during low light. The whiskers are bristles that are synthetic and it forms a perimeter while holding the arrow in place. When the bow is accidentally bumped or moved it still remains in place and nocked.
This became popular in the 80’s, they hold the arrow in the right place while you draw and make your aim steady. The flipper would then fall with the momentum of the arrow after releasing they became a necessary intervention because it heightened the accuracy. It also turned the bow into an advanced machine that has bullseye capability instead of just an art. \
The bottom line is, every type of rest is as accurate as the way you are with your bow. You would be the one to decide which one you learned with as a factor. The decision on which one is better is more of a personal experience on each of them, and from your personal experience you should be the one to decide which one would be better for your hunting trip.
